My video is up on CNET! Hooray! I’m so nervous I might die. Anyhow, if you’d like to view it, go to CNET and scroll through the images in the middle (not the video player section, the thing in the middle) until you see my mug. Then click.
I’m not supposed to give out the static link until it’s off the front page. We like to track that kind of thing. It’s my first time in front of the camera (except for the vampire thing), so don’t bash me too hard!
Oh, the horror! Thanks to Eric for taking this screenshot.

as i mentioned on the BOL forum…
good job girl.
“Mac oh es ecks login screen…” Come now, you’re a proper Mac geek, you know better than to pronounce the letter and not the number.
“I found a very comprehensive list of options on Engadget.” Oh really? Shill..
Digs aside, an excellent job. I suppose it helps to be cute
Great Job! Ms. Wood watch out.
Man that emoticon renders in the most hideous way. Why can’t we all just do the mental translation of unicode, instead of having these absurd colored graphics!
Jesse, I refuse to listen to your comments. *cough* Microsoft *cough*
w00t! Way to go Veronica! Maybe you can ask Molly to hook you up with one of those secret digital tv spokesmodel jobs.
Hey Veronica, this is fantastic! I just clicked through to CNET looking for the video, you mentioned it on yesterday’s BOL. Really great job, I remember that ThinkPad from the photo at Flickr where you were pointing to an IBM with Flyakite OSX. Congratulations! I was so happy, I posted about it on my website - click my name to see the post
Really good work, firt in BOL I heard your voice sometimes, now if you didnt talk, I miss you voice, and now for my surprise we can actually see you on cnet videos, just amazing!!! Really good video. Keep the excellent work! From Brazil - Fabio
Yes!!! Nice!! You did great! So great that I want my PC to look like a Mac now
Congrats on your video debut from Brazil.
Ps. I have on simple question I’ll be happy if you can answer me. You said 2 posts below that Boot Camp allow us to use Windows Xp on a Mac right? What about Windows Vista?
Good job.
Very Professonal.
Keep up the good work on the podcast too.
Great job V! Blue is a great color on you as well.
Woooh! You look great, and that’s just from the frontdoor picture! Can’t wait to watch.
Not found any Wi-Fi in Prague yet so I’m gonna have to wait.
I got as far as Tom’s ad and then this computer froze up
I hope this is first of many!
Watching your video, I would have thought you’d been doing it for years. What a pro! …and what a babe!

Great Job, Veronica! You looked so calm, like you had done this all your life. By the way, I really enjoy your podcast with Tom and Molly.

Great job, very nice (and werid ) to finally see you of film after such a long time listening to you on the podcast, Pulled it off very well, though you sounded different from the podcast, it must be something to do with the mics on the set, as tom does also when hes on camera,
Veronica on a camera!!!
Ok I did the magic…
My PC now looks like a Mac. I might not leave it this way though, since it’s “eating” my memory… But, very nice, my home PC look as good as my PowerMac G5 from work…
Thanks Veronica, Thanks Jonathan

You did an amazing Job!!! Just wondering do you like it better on camera or off and whats the story on getting this whole thing started. Go Ms. V!!!!!!!!
Also loved the tips
thanks, Grin
Nice work, V! It is so much better having you on this side of the camera. I’m looking forward to watching more VB CNET tips.
What was sooooo much better about Eric’s screen shot then mine?
listen to the nerds drool
“Apple-like”
Good job miss Vron. You’ll be the fresh faced Kari Byron of C|net.
Great job gilr, you look great!
I think Molly Wood is hot!
Just curious, can you tell us how your video debut did compared to others that day (you did say CNET tracked it)? Also, what is the name of the show/channel/air date of the vampire thing that you did?
By the way, you did an awesome excellent job with the piece. Hope they let you do more in the future.
Wow, you’re really hard to not notice in that video.. A real beauty, you are.
happy snake day veronica…here, have an ipod bunny as a token of my kindness and generosity:

Just wanted to say your video on CNET was fantastic. You are much more articulate than the typical video review. Your presentation was clear and to the point. I hadn’t seen this site until googling your review. I’ll definitely be checking this site now to see any of your future reviews/posts. Keep up the good work.
Looks Great!!! (The video)
Hey V,
Great job on the video. I just saw it. You were quite flawless. I’m thinking you sold yourself short when talking about it. Five high!
Veronica… anybody ever tell you that you look like a more attractive version of Chloe on the show 24? With you being a true techno-person, maybe they should have hired you for the part!

What was sooooo much better about Eric’s screen shot then mine?
Uh, thats top-secret Nick…
Excellent Job Veronica, i should say - you are the first person on Cnet.com video’s to look really cool - composed and knowing what you are talking about.
it made me start searching for you and i landed up here.
anyways once again - great job, you should do it more often.
cheers!!!
Let’s not teach people to make their PC’s look like a Mac. It’s just cruel to think that you are teaching them to cover up the problem and not deal with the real issue.
Wow!, you are a Star. I’m hooked. Your beautiful, articulate, and smart. And the frosting on the cake as that you are a Machead, sweet. Are you going to make BuzzCast into a video version? Keep up the excellent work.
I just have to comment on a previous poster. I have never, ever heard of someone talk about how they use a PC at home, but a Mac at work, weird.
Great Video i am loving my Macdows right now V.
