It’s been a while, I know. Once again, life has gotten in the way of blogging, but I do have a lot of catch you up on. Let me start with the title of this post.
In the past two days, I’ve had six needles jammed into my body. Two in my mouth (for the two baby cavities that needed to get “taken care of”) and four on my arms/torso for the removal of suspicious moles. The worst part about the mole fiasco was that I wasn’t expecting them to do it on that visit (in hindsight, probably for the best - I would have worried myself sick otherwise). Oh, and then the lovely nitrogen blast to take off another thing on my arm. That hurt the worst, and it’s still sitting there… waiting. Waiting to fall off…
OK! That was disgusting, and I apologize. The brightspot in my week so far has been purchasing my Sidekick 3. Finally, I have a new phone. It was expensive (around $378 for the phone and a one-year contract plus tax) but some of the other phones I was looking at would have put me past the $500 mark. Yeah, no.
I was also excited to learn today that Sling Media has made a Mac-compatible version of the SlingPlayer. It’s still in beta, but I’m always happy when someone makes their awesome product run on my computer. Except… yeah. I don’t have a laptop or a device that can play video content, so it kind of doesn’t matter.
I have a question - does anyone know how to play YouTube videos in Wordpress? I’ve been looking in all the forums, and nothing has worked for me. Even the method Matt came up with won’t work. I’m at my wits end!

- Login to WordPress admin
- Go to users, then ‘your profile’
- under Personal Options, Uncheck “Use the visual rich editor when writing”
- write a new post by pasting that ‘embeddable player’ code youtube gives you at their site
- Publish your entry and hopefully it’ll work
.
hopefully that helps…works for me. feel better from teh needles (jon shudders at the thought of teh needles)…they truly are teh sux0r
i’m also running wordpress and this is my solution as well. just put the embed code to the right of the video on youtube’s website in the post where you want it to appear and and viola!
So was the sidekick3 worth it? Other than stressing about scratching the shit out of the 8125 its been pretty god damn pimp as a daily use phone. Specially for working on things for my company.

the video thing didn’t work for me, sadly… dunno why!
Well, hopefully you didn’t break up with a dog when you got your sidekick…did you?
You’re not a 1337 h4xor if you don’t hand-code your WordPress posts, anyway
Can you change the screen pic on that sidekick thingie? They are very popular with the models, and you have no idea how many girls have asked if I could help them “get rid of the asian girl”.
