if one of the sys requirements is a “video card with T&L support”, i wonder how well it’ll run on a macbook…what with their integrated graphics and all. I know it will cause a performance, but my Q is how much of a hit will it cause?
It’s fabulous. Although to be honest, it didn’t drain as much of my time as San Andreas did when I went on my “OMG MY MAC CAN PLAY WINDOWS GAMES NOW” binge.
It’s kind of resource intensive though! I guess you’d be running it on a G5 so that should be okay, but my MacBook struggles with the Windows version.. and I’d guess the OS X version would be slower than that.
When Civ4 first came out for PC I re-learnt a skill I hadn’t used in years - the ability to live on about 1 hours sleep per night for days on end.
Just as I get over that and start to get my life back to normal Warlords comes out AND the brilliant Civ City Rome.
Oh well - maybe I should get a mac so I have longer to wait between games

Mmmm… CIV 4! You can’t go wrong with Leonard Nimoy reading off famous quotes everytime you discover a new technology.
My friend is about to lose his job if he continues to spend time on Civ4… at work.
I’ve gotta get back in practice, and then maybe we can get some multiplayer Civ on. Then we’ll see who can waste time the best!
I’d prefer a video card with T&A support.
