The movie itself was something else. I’m not very good with scary movies, but since everyone was so into it (yelling, shouting, hissing…) it made the whole experience a ton of fun. I handled the gore aspect ok, no panic attacks or anything.
Today was a bit of hell, since I was at work until 4:30am editing the videos with Ariel, our camera guy/editor. But I think the final product was worth it. I’m ready to move on with my life, away from SoaP. Not that it wasn’t fun, but I think I’m pretty spent.
Did you see the movie? Was it everything you hoped and more?

Thank you so much for all the effort and love that you put on your work. I’m pretty sure all your fans loved the final product…
I haven’t seen it yet, it’s comming to Brazil only in september. Hopefully will be everything I’m waiting for.
You relax now ok? Bye!
I’m actually not planning on seeing the movie, the whole phenomenon was tons more fun, and I’m also squeamish when it comes to those kinds of movies (thanks for sharing your own squeamishness wiht us btw V, makes me feel better knowing someone as cool as you is same way)
Also, I had a thought..if Snakes on a Plane was adapted into a musical.. would it be a SoaP Opera?
i loved the film without a shadow of doubt…congrats on a SoaP-fest well done Vero! You’ve def made this film wort the wait, and Rodrigo’s right, I’m pretty sure all your fans loved the final product…(i did)
Indeed you are right jon, the snikkety-snake movie was the best. Nice photo from the buzz vidcast, who is she again? lol
Oh, I have another idea for a possible spin-off for SoaP: CoaP = Centipedes on a Plane…I HATE CENTIPEDS!!
V, what was that song you were singing in the outtake? Can you give us an iTunes link?
Haven’t seen the film, but happened upon your Buzzcast. You’re totally winsome and beautiful. I’ve got a buzzcrush. Seriously.
I agree with CoolB, I too (and a 6.2ft gangsta thug a row behind) aren’t so comfortable with snakes, but the movie was fun and the audience going along was great.
As for the song; look on V’s page for the Snakes on a Plane music video!
I’ll go to watch the movie has soon has get to México, and of the record you look pretty in the video podcast…
I can sum the movie up in four words: “Snakes on a Plane”. Nothing more needs to be said.
It’s a shame that we couldn’t see what was going on in the theatre before the showing, as I am sure it was quite festive. Silly quesiton: Would a “press pass” get your crew into the theatre before to show PRIOR to the film?
Who knew Veronica had such a popular blog!? I only hope someday to become the podcast producer that emerges from the shadow the same way Veronica Belmont has.
=)
Hope that guy I know that you know is moved in and e’rythang. He actually spent a few moments in Salt Lake City, I heard.
As to stay on topic, SoAP is awesome! I loved the movie. Nice on camera work too.
Later,
Randall
Nice one V. You should have come to the 7:30p screening Friday night when the Suspension of Disbelief Society hosted an OPEN BAR screening! Yes, Tahitian beers on the way in (cause it’s South Pacific airlines we were riding) and full bars in each corner of the screen. Tons of pilots, stewardesses, hecklers and snakes of all shapes and sizes were flying about. Craziness I tell you.
V, love your latest Insider Secrets episode. But I believe you meant forward slash instead of backslash.
I didn’t see the movie, and I’m not interested in seeing the movie… a total yawner, and I don’t like scary movies.
@Jason:
DAMMIT!
In the opening shot outside the theater are Tom and Molly standing on boxes?
Did you see some freaks actually released real snakes in a showing of SOAP!!!!!!
Wish i could find that link
Chicago - no, they are actually just both over 6 feet tall. i’m 5′8″!
John and I saw Snakes on a Plane at the Jersey Shore last week. Very funny. The Jersey Shore still is great. Hope all is well. Send John a note of encouragement about school. It starts next week.
