Last night was the 11th anniversary of Laughing Squid, which is headed by Scott Beale. A ton of people turned out at the event, at Mighty here in San Francisco. There was some crazy stuff there, like this fireball maker (for lack of a better term) that I took some video of:
There are also some pictures on my Flickr page, but you should definitely check out everyone’s shots. Congrats to Scott!!

Man, if you guys had told me there would be a fireball thingie I’d have blown off the stuff I was working on last night and shown up. Now I’ve gotta wait another decade.
On another note, I hope you’re ready for that laugh of yours to be clipped out and used by your listeners as a Windows alert sound.

Goodness, gracious… great balls of fire!
I had no idea what Laughing Squid is, so I went to their website. It looks like it was crazy fun. We have nothing like that where I live. Because, well… where I live is lame.
Your video is on the top at the website, too. Neat!
Fire ward! Ice barrier! Blink!
… Oh, so the fireballs weren’t directed at me…
Rodrigo can do that with a lighter and some vodka!!!
