Cool V, you looks great on TV… The star is growing!!
But I have to say that on some points I agree with Julian…
.
I don’t like this type of behave but I don’t really think that Blizzard really cares about shutting down all those sellers, eBay was probably the easier one and that what they did it. Now they can say:
-Hey look, we tried to stop this…
.
Just my opinion.
Ah, and you don’t look nervous at all, nice
I agree with you, if those are the terms of service, then both Ebay and gamers are obligated to adhere to them. And it just makes for a more rewarding gaming experience to work for your goods. Second Life is different - since it’s your intellectual property, you can do anything you’d like with it.
In the meantime, I do think Blizzard and other companies are going to need to figure out how to integrate these kinds of activities into the game itself — especially w/ the blurring of online/offline. People are still going to buy and sell from each other independent of any middlemen. There’s always a black market.
Nice job Veronica. I thought Mr. Dibbel’s argument was a little weak as to why he thought it was a “bad thing” (for Ebay to stop allowing it). You were arguing that it was a good thing because it is, essentially, a cheat (and, in any game, cheating ruins online play). His argument had nothing to do with the game… he was just arguing that someone else might get a chunk of the profits as opposed to the player. But what relevance does that argument have if the players that are selling online are breaking the TOS anyway?
I am going to have to agree with you on this one Veronica. I was hoping for some more time for debate between you two, I’m sure you could take him.
Oh ya, I know you will love your New Macbook Pro, I love mine. I think I love my Macbook Pro too much. I get withdrawals when its not around - don’t let this happen to you and if you have advice for my addiction please let me know.
The selling of characters should not be allowed because it negatively affects the integrity of the game. The power of a level 60 character should be wielded only by someone who has gone though the maturing process intrinsic in getting to that level via game-play.
what ever happened to just wanting to play the game for fun. PFFT! LMAO love the ending of that segment
