However, offense of said rigging is canceled out by any lolcat that works in “podcats” in a way that actually means something.

C’mon people, you all know that podcats is the most hilarious thing you’ve ever seen. Yes, the other entries are funny, but check out the photoshopping of the BOL homepage (“Meowz Out Loud”) onto the laptop. That’s pure genius!

Question: i wasn’t previously familiar with the so-called lolcats, but could someone tell me why the spelling has to be messed up like that? Is that a special lolcat rule, or is there some other reason for it? I’m Dutch, so maybe that’s why i’m not quite getting the fun of the spelling part? E.g., to me the harry potter lolcat would be just as funny if “UR” were spelled “YOUR” – does that mean i have a lack of humor? By the way: ‘lol’ actually means ‘fun’ in Dutch, but i suppose that’s not where their name originated
