DL.TV today! Also, hot dragon-on-dragon action

I was thrilled to co-host DL.TV today with Roger Chang (Robet Heron was out at CEDIA), and we had a really good time. Roger is a riot, and I’ve been on his and Tom Merritt’s podcast East Meets West a few times, so I knew it would be a lot of fun. I’d love to do it again some time (hint, hint). We talked about Apple, Terminal hacks (they’re not really hacks, just some fun tips) and dragons. Lots and lots of dragons. So basically, it was my perfect afternoon.
Also, I was taking a look at my referrers this afternoon after all the iPhone rebate hoohah, and I noticed that I was linked to from the CNET News.com blog! That was exciting to me, anyway.

It’s a good thing that you get on to someones show…. It’s like you never going to show up at Mahalo! DL.TV is a good choice since it’s one of my favorite shows. Can’t wait for next episode of DL.TV to show up in Miro.
BTW: When will you start podcasting Mahalo Daily?

Roger Chang has a dragon in his pants?? Who knew!

Veronica, you look extremely calm about that Dragon… hrm, I’m starting to think you might be involved somehow. Will you be doing a Mahalo how-to podcast on how to conjur dragons from out of thin air (Or Roger’s pants in this case?)

What, you think CNET forgot about you that quickly?
Tom referred to your post as well on BOL. Molly needs to take a chill-pill on that one! [did I just date myself to my 80's roots?]

I truly enjoyed your stint on DL.TV this week. I also hope to see you filling in there on a more permenant basis.
One comment on your blog page, using a larger text size would help us over 40 readers actually make out whats on the page. I have to blow the page up to 150% in Opera to read it without squinting.
Somehow I seem to have gotten the impression during the show that you are also down here in OC? Is that right? I thought everyone on the West Coast computer centric side of the country was either in SF or LA? OC’s gain is LA/SF’s loss.
)
Hope to see more of you on DL.TV and will make a point to watch the Mahalo webcast when it starts. I’ve got Mahalo on my Personal Bar in Opera, right next to DL.TV in fact.
Best wishes,
Robert Jensen

Veronica, you are not going to get your pay-off from Starbuck’s for product placement unless you turn that cup around and show the logo!

Ok I think I have figured it out-you are not going live at mahalo till your hair grows out. Bummer like the pixie look

@Rick – What? I haven’t had a pixie cut since I was in college!

@Robert – Thanks! Nope, I’m in SF with the rest of the geeks

If Veronica comes to So Cal, she will have to learn how to drive. :-> Besides, SF is a beautiful city, and you can live in SF without a car, in SD, OC and LA you need a car to get around.

Sorry, I should have not gone off script (I have been married long enough to know to just say “Your hair looks great dear.”) Actually I did like the short cut (whatever it was called) and I figured it was easier and cooler on the back of your neck considering all the on set time you spend. Or are the Mahalo and CNET sets so high tech they are not like ovens?

I really like V’s hair like that. The ponytail is very cute, very girly. She’s never looked better!

Anyone else think that Veronica Belmont is a displaced Jane Austen heroine?
Anyone else think the new Nano Ipod resembles Om Malik?
Anyone else think that Molly Wood’s rant against Apple was erotic?
Anyone else think Kevin Rose and Natali Del Conti should get together?

I saw you on DL.TV on my TiVo. Huh huh, you’re purty.
Seriously, WTF? Why did you leave cNET? Are you going network on us?

Just saw you on Tivo as well. If you didn’t already know and are reading comments this old, the Series3 will be getting TivoToGo in November. It’s about time!

You made the people in the back laugh. You could see Roger wanted to burst out laughing but wanted to keep a straight face.

Hey Veronica,
I’ve been listening (and missing) you on Buzz Out Loud for quite some while now.
Your dl.tv show where you showed the terminal hack for turning a screen saver into wallpaper was a bit advanced for me. So after searching google I found a program that does exactly that, but with one click.
The program is called Wallsaver and its a free download from this website: http://www.nwwnetwork.net/software.php?app=wallsaver
The author (aparently from his blog) works for Apple, and it shows in how easy the application is to use and it even looks nice too!
Thanks for the years of fun on BOL hope you call in often.

So, Veronica, when will you stop saying “they” and start saying “we” about Mahalo?
