So, last spring I went on MSNBC to talk about… oh, I don’t remember, it was either “Geek Fight Club” or the “Dangers of MySpace. ”
There was a woman being interviewed before me, and she was very distraught, and talking about how her monkey was taken away from her! It was like her child. The interviewer was really nice, but the transition from the monkey story to mine was really awkward. Something like:
“We really hope you and your monkey are reunited! Best of luck. And now, geeks that are beating the crap out of each other!”
Well, it looks like she got her monkey back. Congrats!

oh… here it is http://plesstv.blogs.com/plesstv/2007/05/cnetcoms_veroni.html
@googleman - it wasn’t that show, actually… it was Geek Fight Club. And I didn’t do any of the fighting, I was just reporting on the trend!
I laughed hysterically at how you described this! Wow, what a Segue! I mean, feel bad for her but if it were me I think I would have burst out laughing!
Awh! thats great that you remembered her, but of course when some one makes that bad of a segue the memory association is bound to happen. Like that reporter that called a mountain climber gay instead of blind.
Aww! One year old monkeys in diapers are cuter than one year old kids in diapers, that’s for sure.
I saw this on current, thought it might amuse some and shine some more light on a woman and her monkey.
