Moving on to new projects
Hard to believe the time has already come, but soon enough I’ll be moving on from Mahalo to embark on some exciting new projects! Mahalo Daily has been a really amazing experience (and not just because I get to do things like fly a plane), and I’ll still be producing episodes for the next couple of weeks as host, and then eventually reporting as correspondent.
It’s impressive how far the show has come since we started; at first I was a little apprehensive about the idea of doing episodes 5 days a week while building it from the ground up (as I imagine anyone would be). But with time we’ve assembled a really great, motivated team that makes the whole thing look effortless. Of course, there’s no shortage of solid talent at Mahalo, and they’ll be working with more people in the future too.
As for the new projects, well, you’ll find out soon enough! Needless to say, I’m very excited about what’s just around the bend.

People … we got a podcast jumper!
Actually I would rather see V in shows where people just talk, like BOL, Digg Nation and so on. The small 5 minutes-clips aren’t what I want, because I don’t get to see V be herself.
I stopped watching Mahalo a long time ago, so I can’t wait to see what “new projects” means!
Follow you, I will Veronica.

Funny. I just began watching Mahalo Daily some days ago.
Because i wanted to see who this Veronica Belmont person was after her guest gig at Tekzilla.
She was the best female presenter there ever. Believably nerdy and not intimidated by blabbermouth Patrick Norton. And so cute…
We will see. But i’m pretty sure it will be Rev3.
Veroniva, good luck.

I can’t wait to see where you’ll end up. No matter where that may be, it will certainly benefit from your addition!
Mahalo Daily will suffer, but Lon is hilarious and makes a great host in his own right, so if it’s he who takes over, then perhaps this will work out great for everyone involved, including the fans.
All the best!

I didn’t watch all the shows because I lack the time but what I did see was always very good.
So if I had to take a guess I would say you’re no longer making someone else’s show grow, no, from now on you will have your own company and show.I would like to know what Jason has to say about you leaving because he likes to talk about all the good things at Mahalo but bloggers need to talk about the bad things as well (and how to overcome them), otherwise the readers get the idea it’s all one big promo show.

Hi V
Congrats on the new gig – looking forward to hearing what it’s all about.
I must admit I’ve only checked MD occasionally – I’m more of podcast guy, so it’s a nice surprise when you pop in on BOL from time to time.
I hope the new gig is more tech related, we need more girls in tech instead of all the nerds

Good luck Veronica, I’m always on the look out for anything your on.
I was never truly happy with MD as I could never get any of the feeds to play on my Archos, so I couldn’t watch you on the move – either the video was incompatible or there was no sound. Luckily Miro on my HTPC let me bask in your wonderous broadcasts.
All the best to you.

Hmm, surprising. So much for Jason’s recent boasts on Twit about being able to buy anyone I guess. Veronica wasn’t even there a year…
