80′s videos, much improved!
As an eighties baby, these songs often haunt me in my dreams. Actually, a-ha’s “Take on Me” was the second song I ever downloaded on iTunes! So the sickness runs deep.
Anyhow, Josh pointed me to these posts on Laughing Squid, and I got a huge kick out of these literal translations, created by Dust Films.

I would flirt with this girl with big glasses too, easily ! Hahaha ! I’m fom the late 70′s, I was a kid at the 80′s too.
Ah ! “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” is the music that I heard the most times ever. There was a couple of months, years ago, when I put this song everyday, all day long… and I love to listen to it till now, with no “tired ears”.

Hey Veronica nice 80′s vids! Shifting to something you said on the last tekzilla show about the new MacBook pros. You mentioned that people have been complaining about the new glossy screens on the MBPs. Well I was worried about it too but I’ve had a chance to spend some quality time with my MBP and can only attest to the high quality of the screen. I don’t really notice the glare at all even though it’s there. I don’t see my reflection in it to be more precise or notice glaring lights (no hair combing going on here!) and only find myself being impressed by both the brilliant colors coming off the screen and the overall solid build of the MBP. You also complained about no 17″ MBPs…well you’ll just have to wait your turn Ms. Fatty Macfatty Screen! The new MBPs are awesome in every way!
