RiffTrax Live Online
As you may have learned from previous updates, I’m a huge fan of the guys over at RiffTrax (see also MST3K). The big news this week from them is that Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy and Bill Corbett will be doing a live RiffTrax online this Thursday!
The short film they’ll be riffing on is called Self-Conscious Guy, and while I haven’t heard of it I can only assume that it will be hilarious. If you’ve never had the pleasure of listening to their commentary during a film, I suggest Casino Royale, The Matrix and 300 as good starters!
I’ve always wondered how much of their chatter is scripted vs. off the top of their heads, so it’ll be really interesting (and fun, of course) to watch them live!

I love those guys. I have all the DVD sets of MST3K that are out lol. I guess I need to see the riffts of the ones mentioned then. I do highly suggest the harry Potters ones, especially the 2nd movie. They make Hagrid hilarious. I will mark the thing they are doing on my calander.
That reminds me, I have over 120 episodes of “Mystery Science Theater 3000″ to transfer from VHS tape to digital. *sigh*
Hmm…I wonder if this would work in conjuction with Netflix or other services. What do you think?
