Tomorrow starts the busiest week of my year (Tokyo Game Show notwithstanding) so I wanted to give everyone a heads up on what’s going on with Tekzilla this week!
Tuesday:
We’ll be at the (Jobs-less) Keynote, and then roaming the show floor at Macworld trying to find the coolest stuff to put on the show. There’s a Macrumors party that evening that I’d like to attend, depending on my exhaustion levels. For live coverage, make sure you watch Ryan’s liveblogging at gdgt!
Wednesday:
CES baby! We’re all flying down to Vegas in the afternoon. Digital Experience is that night, which always has something interesting to see.
Thursday/Friday/Saturday:
Live Tekzilla at 4pm at the NBC/Revision3 booth (Central Hall #12133). Come see me and Patrick record the show, which should last about 30 minutes or so. We’ll have a ton of new products to show off, most of which I can’t talk about yet. :/
I’m also hoping I might be able to pop into Buzz Out Loud for a little reunion show, but we’ll see!
Saturday night:
We’re having a Tekzilla party at the Double Down Saloon! We’re probably going to get things rolling around 8pm, but I’ll send updates to Twitter if anything changes. I’ll be the one drinking the bacon martinis.
If you’re at any of these events, stop and say hello! Post any predictions for Macworld/CES that you have in the comments, and we’ll see who has the best intel. BTW, we have a winner for the shuffle contest! It was Mirko from Croatia (#433). Congrats! I’ll get that out to you as soon as I get back from CES.

My macbook pro broke. Maybe it got depressed because this keynote there will be no steve.
Sounds Great! Can’t wait to see how Tekzilla and rev3 are going to cover CES. See you on the show-floor.

AAAAARRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHH
WHY DO I LIVE IN EUROPE
What about DRM-free iTunes? Maybe it’s a lot of hype but whatever Apple does will be watched by lots of people in the entertainment industry, music and beyond.
Wow, I can’t wait for all the CES podcasts – from revision3, and Cnet!
First post?…..
Yay!!
It’s almost a spam, I know.
Too bad Vegas is too far for me to drop in and say hi.
But hey Veronica I think you should come to Japan and pay me…or us a visit someday!
I like your style and your shows!~
Keep it up you are doing great!
<3 from Japan
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!
Hate the 4 guys above me!!
Have fun @ MacWorld/CES
I stopped by the Double Down Saloon last week when I was in Vegas via Patrick’s suggestion on the show. I wasn’t digging the Bacon Martini, but the bar and Ass Juice were both awesome!
Frank, my MacBook Pro broke too… with a little help from a cup of coffee over the keyboard
Trying to work out whether to load up my already battered credit card with a shiny new 17″ replacement that they announced today at MacWorld, or pay to have it fixed.
I’ll be working the afternoon’s of Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, and Friday morning, just down the way at Sling’s Booth – LVCC Central Hall 14438. I’m try to sneak down to catch Tekzilla.
Odd coincidence – I was out at my local watering hole in Worcester, MA Saturday night before flying out to Vegas on Sunday and one of the guys there, upon hearing I was going to Vegas, told me I had to check out this place called the Double Down Saloon.
Now I’m really going to have to try to make it there Saturday.
Raw Bacon Martini?! Ewwwwww!!!!
I would like to see a netbook tablet at CES!
Have fun Veronica at macworld and CES!
I enjoyed the keynote, I really like Phil Schiller and I was hoping he’d do well.
The keynote itself was basic and workman like. Nothing fancy, nothing special. It simply accomplished what it needed to do and no more.
It certainly wasn’t as good as a Stevenote but overall IMHO I’d have to rate it higher than a typical Microsoft keynote, and that’s a pretty good start for Phil. Plus the keynote was glitch free.
Phil was very nervous at first, he doesn’t own the stage like Jobs does. But I suspect that will change over time and with experience. I hope Phil gets a chance to do more keynotes. This may be the end of Apple at Macworld, but there will always be Apple keynotes… Somewhere.
Hi Veronica, I love to watch your show. I think you are really cute, today I was watching you on YouTube during my break in the Hospital. Refreshing moments, after being around angry Fat RN’s all day.
… and here’s one of the videos with you, Veronica, at the CES09 showfloor: http://www.praetorius.com/besuch-bei-tekzilla-veronica-belmont-und-die-ces-neuheiten/
