I saw it Wednesday at the Metreon IMAX.
Quick no-spoiler review:
I liked it quite a bit and hope they continue. Star Trek was always about characters and they did an excellent job of casting and preserving the characters while still updating it. There are a few 90210-y moments, but they are forgivable. The plot isn’t perfect but it’s still great fun.
Also, there is nothing “after the credits” so only stay if you like to watch credits.
The movie was fricking stellar!
