Debut

My video is up on CNET! Hooray! I’m so nervous I might die. Anyhow, if you’d like to view it, go to CNET and scroll through the images in the middle (not the video player section, the thing in the middle) until you see my mug. Then click.

I’m not supposed to give out the static link until it’s off the front page. We like to track that kind of thing. It’s my first time in front of the camera (except for the vampire thing), so don’t bash me too hard!Picture 7.png
Oh, the horror! Thanks to Eric for taking this screenshot.

What happened to solidarity??

As Arlo points out in the comments of my last post:

I’m so lost- all my mac friends WANT windows now… what happened to solidarity??

Indeed, what has happened? I myself have been called an Apple sycophant, and yet I was actually excited to hear the news this morning. I just took a little quiz on TUAW, and I was suprised to see that an overwhelming majority of Apple users (the ones who read TUAW, anyway…) want to dual boot. Personally, I claim game addiction. In all honesty, there really isn’t much else I can think of wanting it for. Maybe I’m just exicted over the innovation: what does this mean for the future? Was Dvorak right? I doubt it, but I guess you really can’t count anything out these days.

So, dear readers, what are your guesses? And will you dual boot? Why or why not?

Bootcamp

Yes. I know. Apple is letting us boot Windows on the new Intel-based Macs. I’m ok with it, really. In fact, I think it’s a good thing. It means someday I can play my PC games I’ve been saving on my Mac! I can’t wait to see how it works.

So true.
