Oh man, my blog is quickly becoming very WoW-centric, and I promise this won’t last for much longer. However, I feel compelled to devote a post to my new favorite web serial, The Guild. It stars the lovely Felicia Day (some of you will recognize her from Buffy, but she’s worked on other cool projects as well) as a Warcraft-addicted woman who finds her online life encroaching on her personal, “IRL” space. The second episode just came out, and my only real complaint is that they’re woefully short. If you’re a WoW player, you’ll find the references and constant Vent chatter in the background to be both hilarious, and frighteningly close to home.

Episode Two:
I think it’s especially funny to think about the lines between real and virtual world blurring… but as much as I love my guild, it would be a little odd to find one of them on my doorstep one day! But hey, that’s what meet-ups are for!
UPDATE: Yes, I know it’s fake. Yes, I knew it at the time. Do I care? Not really. The Internet is serious business, folks.

If I were a totally hot undead chick with really great hair, apparently this is what I would look like!

Len over at Jawbone Radio is doing a series of zombie drawings (in a continuation of Monster by Mail, which I wrote about here), and he was given the phrase “Seductive Geek Goddess” as the inspiration for one of his pieces. I was flattered to learn that he based this zombie on me! I have a Wiimote, an iPhone, and even a Galacticast shirt.
Oh, and of course, blood (and most likely brains) dripping from my mouth. Very cool, thanks Len!
