Sony Will Present PS3 At CES 2006

Sony has decided to acquire the central stand at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) that will take place in January next year in Las Vegas. Ok…that would seem rather normal…except for the fact that the stand will have 12,000 sq. feet (aprox 3660 square meters). That’s a lot. Time to take away the X360 thunder.
I’m so gonna be there for that.
Oh, so anyway, just finished a nice 15 hour workday. We gave away 10 XBOX 360′s! It was very exciting. But I’m oh so very tired now. And then I tried to order a DVR from Comcast, and they put me in some stupid chat thing, and then the stupid woman didn’t speak to me so I left, and then my order was cancelled. Asshats.
I would have gotten TiVo, but I don’t have a phone line. ASSHATS! I give up, I’m going to bed.
SETI@home killed off
1Distributed computing experiment SETI@home will be switched off on December 15 as it becomes part of the Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing (BOINC). The BOINC site will allow boffins to build other volunteer computing projects in areas like molecular biology, high-energy physics, and climate change study.
How sad! I’ve used SETI@home for years. Guess I’ll just have to keep sending my extra computing resources to Folding@home. And we never even found aliens…
